ASUS took the top spot at 13.7% SoV with almost entirely organic visibility (only 0.7% sponsored, down from 2.8% in Feb). Present on 35 of 36 retailers. Dominant at Incredible (43.2%), Ebuyer (33.0%), and Computermania (32.6%).
Samsung's sponsored rate jumped from 1.2% to 5.4% month-over-month, the largest single-brand increase. Especially visible at Game (23.4% SoV), John Lewis (19.0%), and EE (17.1%). A clear retail media spend push.
Coverage expanded from 22 retailers in February to 36 in March. Seven Polish retailers added (MediaExpert, Euro, x-kom, Morele, Komputronik, MediaMarkt, OleOle) plus Harvey Norman Ireland. South Africa now the largest market by volume.
Xiaomi has the highest sponsored rate of any brand at 7.6% (up from 4.0% in Feb), despite only 0.8% total SoV. Almost all of its visibility is paid. A textbook retail media play for a brand still building organic shelf presence.
Acer's sponsored rate dropped the most, from 6.7% to 2.2%. Despite this, Acer held #2 position at 8.4% SoV overall. Suggests strong organic catalog placement, particularly at Argos (16.9%) and Harvey Norman (16.6%).
South Africa overtook the UK as the largest market by total appearances: 2.0M vs 1.8M. Driven by FirstShop (428K), Amazon ZA (346K), and PC International (317K). The ZA digital shelf is growing fast.
